On your first visit, you will turn in or fill out the new patient paperwork. Please bring your photo id and insurance card with you. It is perfectly fine, if you do not have insurance or you just may not have a card. We will take current x-rays and do a comprehensive exam to see if there is any treatment needed. What happens next depends on you. If you simply need a cleaning, we will clean your teeth. If you have a tooth that is bothering you, we will get you out of pain first.
Routing dental check-ups and cleaning are recommended every 6 months. Although, some patients prefer or need to come every 3-4 months.
Yes! We see plenty of children. Typically, we recommend the child to start coming with a parent around the age of 2. We make their first visits fun and easy. They will quickly become more comfortable and enjoy coming over a short amount of time. We will not force a child to do anything they are not willing. If we are not able to work on them, we will refer them to a pediatric dentist.
The majority of the time is YES! Just because your company may have changed insurances, doesn’t mean you have to change dentists. The majority of time there is not much difference. Just ask and we will do our best to let you know how your insurance will pay.
On finished procedures, payment is expected the day services are rendered. If you have insurance, we will ask that you pay your estimated co-pay or portion. If longer payment options are needed, we offer care credit.
